Angelspit

Angelspit was formed in April 2004 by a riot grrl with a distortion pedal and a cyberpunk with a vocoder. Thick and rich with burning analogue synths and contempt, driven by beats like shards of metal and glossy with latex and sweat.
October 2004 Angelspit releases Nurse Grenade - a CD-R containing 6 originals tracks plus 3 remixes. Originally intended as only a demo, Nurse Grenade received radio and club play in the USA, UK, Sweden, New Zealand, Japan, Germany, and Canada and across Australia.
Within their first three energetic live shows, they have gone from supporting Australia's biggest Gothic export Ikon, to playing with KMFDM and headlining New Year's Eve celebrations at the Metro in Sydney.

Krankhaus
The 14 track album was released in June 2006.
Blisteringly fat synths with angry distorted beats and scathing vocals outline the themes of horror, medical experimentation and the beautifully grotesque. The music and imagery of Krankhaus is complex, rich and disturbing - pushing the boundaries that Angelspit established with their debut EP ‘Nurse Grenade’.
Angelspit employed the services of one of Australia’s top fashion photographers, plus a cast and crew of over twenty people to produce the accompanying 16 page booklet for Krankhaus.
