News from Angelspit
Dom Smith from SPHERE Magazine interviews Angelspit
"Increasingly, we are becoming slaves in a First World Global Engine that just grinds up the workers. These workers then go home and lust over a big plasma screen - they go online and *click*, they buy it….and thus the problem is perpetuated by those who are enslaved to it. So this is freedom…?"

News from The Mercy Cage
The Mercy Cage signs with Creepshow Productions
Creepshow Productions are proud to announce the signing of NZ’s premier darkwave band The Mercy Cage. The Mercy Cage have been the stalwarts of NZ’s dark underground scene for the last 8 years and with 2001’s Rust: A Fiction (Mediatrix) and 2005's Scree: Transmissions (DSBP) both released to general critical acclaim both within NZ and abroad, Creepshow relishes the opportunity to work with The Mercy Cage in delivering the next long awaited album in 2009.
With a genuine focus on home, expect to see The Mercy Cage more in the live scene and playing some new rocking tracks as the new album comes to life.
Creepshow will also be working with The Mercy Cage's previous North-American label DSBP and keeping the NZ connection strong overseas. Josh Wood will still be playing an integral part in New Mexico band Diverje as well.
In the meantime, check out the latest track from The Mercy Cage called “The Jewellery Thief” on the Something Wicked This Way Comes compilation and keep an ear/eye out. There will be some suprises along the way...something wicked this way comes (also featuring crash frequency acts Ikon & The Tenth Stage).

Grand Guignol - Russian Review of CD

Our second album, Grand Guignol, has been reviewed on this russian blog.
But we can't read it!
We did a quick translation and it mentioned something about the land of kangaroos, so if any readers out there can translate it for us - please get in touch.
In the meantime we are confident it reads something like this....
"Millions of Russian Fans of The Tenth Stage stormed the Kremlin today in protest against the Grand Guignol CD being out of stock. The riots squads were called in, and tear gas was launched onto a crowd of several thousand people chanting 'The Tenth Stage Forever, Capitalismus Never!!'
Or perhaps not....
